About
An independent directory of Minecraft resources. We list mods, shaders, maps, and texture packs with verified metadata and direct links to creator pages.
What MinecraftDrop is
MinecraftDrop is an independent directory of Minecraft resources: mods, shader packs, maps, and texture packs. We list each resource with its metadata, link to the creator's original page, and mark what we have verified and what we have not.
We are not affiliated with Mojang Studios or Microsoft. "Minecraft" is a trademark of Mojang Synergies AB. The site is not an official Minecraft product, not approved by, and not associated with Mojang or Microsoft.
Why this site exists
Most Minecraft resource sites fall into one of two patterns. Some list hundreds of unverified links with no context — you click download and hope for the best. Others hide downloads behind fake countdown timers, redirect chains, and "scan" banners that do not scan anything.
Neither pattern respects the player's time. MinecraftDrop exists because there is a third option: list fewer resources, verify what can be verified, and state clearly what cannot. Every listing has a source URL, a metadata table, and a status label that tells you whether it was checked recently or not.
What we publish
| Category | What is listed | Editions |

| Mods | Performance, utility, library, and tech mods | Java (Fabric / Forge / NeoForge) |
| Shaders | Shader packs for Iris and OptiFine | Java |
| Maps | Adventure, survival, parkour, and puzzle worlds | Java and Bedrock |
| Texture Packs | Vanilla-plus, realistic, and animation packs | Java and Bedrock |
| Guides | Installation, compatibility, and troubleshooting | Java and Bedrock |
What we do not do
- We do not mirror files. Every download button links to the creator's page or a recognized platform like CurseForge or Modrinth. We do not host files we do not have permission to distribute.
- We do not run fake download gates. No countdown timers, no "click here to verify," no redirect chains.
- We do not claim files are "virus-free." We do not scan files. The same caution you would apply to any third-party download applies here.
- We do not invent download counts or ratings. Counts are copied from the source at listing time and marked with a date.
- We do not use Mojang or Microsoft branding. No Minecraft logo, no Mojang logo, no Microsoft logo.
How to report a problem
Every resource page has a report link. If a download link is broken, a version is wrong, or a description does not match the resource, use the contact page. If you are the creator and want a listing removed or corrected, see Copyright / DMCA.
Editorial independence
MinecraftDrop does not accept payment for placement. If we ever introduce affiliate links or sponsored placements, they will be labeled as such on the page where they appear. For more detail, see the Editorial Policy.
