OneBlock

You start on a single block, floating in the sky. Break it, and it regenerates with something new. Break it again. Sixteen phases later you've walked from Plains to the Nether, looted an Ancient City, and cleared the Stronghold — all without ever touching a normal world.

What OneBlock actually is

OneBlock flips SkyBlock on its head. Instead of starting on a small island with a chest of supplies, you start on a single block floating in the sky — no island, no chest, no safety net. Breaking it spawns new materials, mobs, and structures. Break it again, and the next batch is different.

As you progress, the block transitions through phases. Each phase is themed around a biome, dimension, or structure — and each one changes what drops, what spawns, and how hard the survival loop gets. The HardCore OneBlock variant on CurseForge implements this with 16 distinct levels: Plains, Underground, Deep Cave, Snowy, Desert, Jungle, Barren Lands, Ocean, Pale Garden, Swamp & Cherry, Mansion, Nether, Trail Ruins, Ancient City, Stronghold, and Infinite.

The Infinite phase is the endgame — the block keeps producing materials indefinitely, so you can keep building and farming without a ceiling. Everything before it is a countdown to get there.

Phase progression

1
Early phasesPlains, Underground, Deep Cave — basic resources, forgiving mob waves, a chance to get your footing.
2
Mid phasesSnowy, Desert, Jungle, Ocean, Pale Garden, Swamp & Cherry — new mobs, new materials, and the first real resource pressure.
3
Late phasesMansion, Nether, Ancient City, Stronghold — rare loot, dangerous spawns, and the hardest fights in the run.
4
EndgameInfinite — the block keeps producing materials indefinitely. Build, farm, and expand without a ceiling.

How to install it

The HardCore OneBlock variant ships both a Java world folder and a Bedrock .mcworld file. The import method depends on which edition you play.

  1. Java: extract the downloaded folder into .minecraft/saves. The folder must contain level.dat at its root, not a nested subfolder.
  2. Bedrock: double-click the .mcworld file. Minecraft Bedrock opens and imports the world automatically.
  3. Launch Minecraft and select the world from the Singleplayer list. It will appear as OneBlock or HardCore OneBlock depending on the variant.
  4. Break the first block. That's the entire tutorial. Everything after is discovery.
Not to be confused with SkyBlock. SkyBlock starts on a small island with limited resources. OneBlock starts on a single regenerating block. The mechanics are different, though both are survival-focused. If you've played SkyBlock before, expect to relearn the early game.

Frequently asked questions

Is OneBlock hard?
It depends on the variant. The "HardCore" version on CurseForge is designed for experienced players, with tighter resource budgets and tougher mob waves. Other variants are more forgiving. Check the map description before starting.
Can I play OneBlock with friends?
Yes. OneBlock supports multiplayer on both Java and Bedrock. The HardCore variant is explicitly designed to be better with friends — shared resource pools and co-op progression.
How many phases are there?
The HardCore OneBlock variant has 16 levels, ending with an Infinite phase. Other variants may have different phase counts — check the map page before downloading.
Does OneBlock work on Bedrock Edition?
Yes. The HardCore OneBlock variant on CurseForge ships both a Java world and a Bedrock .mcworld file. Both editions are officially supported by the creator.
What happens in the Infinite phase?
In the Infinite phase the block keeps producing materials indefinitely — the phase never ends. It's the endgame state for players who want to keep building and farming without hitting a ceiling.

Why this listing exists

Most resource sites either dump hundreds of unverified links with no context, or hide downloads behind fake countdown timers and redirect chains. This page follows a different approach: it shows the resource's real metadata, links to the creator's original page, and states clearly what we have and have not verified.

If you find a broken link, an incorrect version, or a download that goes somewhere unexpected, report it using the contact form. If you are the creator and want this listing removed or changed, see Copyright / DMCA.
