The vanilla palette, warmed up
Get Jicklus
Resource pack ZIP goes into .minecraft/resourcepacks on Java, or double-click the .mcpack on Bedrock — steps below.
What Jicklus actually does
Jicklus is a 16x vanilla-plus pack. It does not increase resolution. Instead, it redraws the existing textures with a slightly warmer, more rustic feel. Wood looks more natural, stone has more character, and the overall palette is less saturated than vanilla but not dramatically different. The pack stays within the vanilla aesthetic — it's an interpretation of Minecraft, not a replacement of it.
The pack has been updated 200 times since its release in 2019. The latest update adds textures for the 26.3 snapshot, including new wolf variants, poplar wood, and sulfur blocks. That's unusual for a vanilla-plus pack — many packs in this category stop updating after a year or two when the creator moves on. Jicklus has been maintained through several major Minecraft versions, which is why it still looks cohesive on current builds.
The style is deliberately subtle. If you install Jicklus and don't notice a huge difference from vanilla on a first look, that's the intent. The pack makes the world feel warmer and more lived-in without breaking the visual language that makes Minecraft recognizable. For rustic builds, medieval villages, or cozy survival worlds where vanilla's neutral palette feels cold, Jicklus is exactly the adjustment needed.

Why this listing exists
Most resource sites either dump hundreds of unverified links with no context, or hide downloads behind fake countdown timers and redirect chains. This page follows a different approach: it shows the resource's real metadata, links to the creator's original page, and states clearly what we have and have not verified.
If you find a broken link, an incorrect version, or a download that goes somewhere unexpected, report it using the contact form. If you are the creator and want this listing removed or changed, see Copyright / DMCA.
