Hand-drawn textures, painted rather than pixel-art

What Mizuno's 16 Craft actually does
Mizuno's 16 Craft is a 16x pack that redraws Minecraft's textures by hand. The result is softer and more illustrative than vanilla — less pixel-art sharpness, more of a painted feel. It is not realistic and does not increase resolution. The goal is a cozy, welcoming aesthetic, and the pack achieves that by shifting away from the sharp edges and neutral tones that make vanilla feel like a technical demo of itself.
The pack has a significant add-on community. The most popular add-on is MINIVEE's Better Birds, which replaces vanilla bird models with more detailed ones. There is also a grass fix for newer versions and multiple seasonal variants (CherryLight, etc.). This is worth understanding before you install: the base pack covers the core world, but the add-ons are where the aesthetic really develops. Players who want the "full" Mizuno's experience install three or four add-ons on top.
The 16x resolution is the pack's other defining feature. Unlike Faithful or Patrix, it doesn't scale resolution up — it redraws at the same size with different design choices. That's why it runs on essentially any hardware, and why the pack still looks cohesive alongside vanilla mobs and items that haven't been retextured yet.

This page follows a different approach: it shows the resource's real metadata, links to the creator's original page, and states clearly what we have and have not verified.
